Individually we are those audacious enough to believe we can make a difference — collectively we are that difference.
Based in the heart of Texas, the firm was founded as Texas Architecture Workshop. Inspired by the region’s tall tales and larger-than-life irreverence, we quickly grew from a single-member firm to an expanded team working together from across the globe. Finding ourselves working on projects both within and beyond our home state, we adopted our preferred moniker, Tex — a nod to our provenance and a claim towards a future founded on the confidence, resolve, and aspiration that are undeniably the inheritance of our namesake.
Architecture is at its best when conceived and executed as a holistic effort in concert with adjacent experts and thinkers. To maintain this standard, we have worked to develop a team of exceptional talent and collaborate with experts across diverse fields. We are explorers, tinkerers, and innovators dedicated to bearing the standard of our chosen discipline.
