A motorsport-themed attraction installed at the Circuit of the Americas — an adrenaline rush from lights out to the checkered flag.

Billed as the World's Greatest Ride, Hot Lap is a motorsport experience that allows guests to be driven on a qualifying lap around the Circuit of the Americas by professional drivers. Sitting trackside, the building is organized as a threshold from the park on one side to the live track on the other.

A fully glazed mass with LED video screens behind renders the building as one large media box, a high-impact visual befitting the ride's declaration and the brands intended to sponsor the attraction. Above it, a louvered canopy extends out with the louvers set in an alternating pattern to resemble a checkered flag, both as its own element and in the shadow cast on the plaza below. Beneath the canopy, cars stand on painted starting-grid boxes with timing towers hung overhead, and a rail along the edge lets guests watch from the promenade.

The interior is designed as a modern showcase for brand engagement and merchandise, with large graphic panels and backdrops for the action. Retail is fitted out in wire mesh shelving, rolling tool chests, and exposed black truss beneath a checkered ceiling, with suits, helmets, and team apparel displayed among the machines.
